A "2008/2009 Season Kick-Off Party" will be held at the home of Dennis and Vickie Seal beginning at 12:00 Noon prior to the 3:00 open practice on Saturday, November 1st. Everyone attending the open practice at The Cave Speedway is invited to attend and bring a covered dish. Frenchy Bennington took the checkers at The Cave Speedway Friday night in the Pure Stock Division.

Dwain Welsh of Winchester, Virginia captured his first late model win of the season Friday night at The Cave Speedway.

The Cave Speedway is offering up a "vintage", previously owned racing jacket to the highest bidder. This piece of racing memorabilia was most recently owned by none other than the "Maryland Outlaw" himself, Bobby Jones. Just to "sweeten the deal", Bobby has thrown in a pair of "leather-like" gloves and a piece of orange candy found in the pocket! What a deal! So come on folks, if you are interested in owning this piece of racing history, just contact anyone associated with the Cave Speedway to place your sealed bid. Track Owner and Promoter, Rick Williamson, graciously modeled the jacket and gloves for photographs, however the orange candy was preserved. This can only increase its worth so bid high!!
